The Mansion House

The Mansion House St Helens

Built in 1850 for local solicitor, John Andsell, this magnificent house has been at the centre of the St Helens community for well over 150 years.

The Mansion House has had many personalities from private residence to a museum but today it is owned and managed by Age UK Mid Mersey.

Set within its own grounds, in Victoria Park and within easy access off the A580, our exceptional and versatile venue has something special to offer everyone.

This truly unique venue – with its beautiful Victorian Italianate style Grade II listed house, elegant state-of-the-art orangery, walled gardens and ornate fountain – is a community hub for local people and businesses to use as a special place to celebrate, meet and attend lifestyle classes.

Our team are keen to welcome you and help you arrange your special event, we are licenced for civil wedding ceremonies, naming ceremonies, day and evening receptions, banquets, galas, funeral and celebrations of life receptions and other special events. We excel at putting you and your guests at the centre of what we do.

Age UK Mid Mersey would like to acknowledge funding received from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the support of St.Helens Council and Friends of Victoria Park.
